Exhibition game-plan

​

The BioFuture exhibition constitutes an exciting partnership between the Department of Biological Applications & Technology, the School of Fine Arts (both at the University of Ioannina, Greece) and the leading international digital arts festival, ADAF (Athens Digital Arts Festival).  Our main objectives are to promote science communication, interdisciplinarity, academic extroversion, interplay with local communities & science, art and technology literacy. By employing new art forms and technologies we discuss science in terms of art forms and art in science applications. 

The exhibition presents video art dealing with the subject of BioArt. The contributors are 15 internationally acclaimed artists from 8 countries and 11 art students. 

The initiative was kindly sponsored by the Municipality of Ioannina.
