PETROS MARANGOS

Petros Marangos is an Assistant Professor of Developmental Biology, and currently holds the position of the Head of the Department of Biological Applications and Technology at the University of Ioannina, Greece.
He studied for his PhD at the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology, UCL, London. He has conducted research at UCL, Stanford University and at the Fleming Biomedical Sciences Research Center. His scientific expertise is in Embryology, Cell and Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.
Marangos is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at UCL and has received an ΕΜΒΟ Long-Term Fellowship by EMBL, a Bogue Fellowship from UCL and a New Investigator Award from the UK Society for Reproduction & Fertility.
