Lefkothea-Vasiliki Andreou (GR/GB) is a Senior Teaching Fellow at the Department of Biological Applications and Technology, University of Ioannina. She holds a BSc (Biochemistry), a BA (English Language and Literature) and an MSc (Biotechnology). Her PhD is from UCL (London, UK). She is a neuroscientist and also a visual artist with international screenings. She has worked at Elsevier, a leading global science publishing and analytics company and has been a TEDx speaker. She is a member of the local panel of judges of the international science communication contest, FameLab, which is organized by the British Council. Her research work and publications involve an array of subjects such as neuroscience, molecular biology, human-computer interaction, history and education.
